Hecking Sketching - Beers that I have loved.

Here is the love story of me, some beers, and my sketchbook. We have been enjoying some time together and I guess it’s been so long that you could say we’re getting pretty serious about each other.
I don’t know that there are many things I love more than sipping a locally brewed beer, drawing it, and sharing it here for you.

I really love to head down to Whyte Ave somewhere and grab a little lunch beer, do a little hecking sketching, and get some work done out in the world, away from my apartment for a few hours. I don’t abide by society’s rules so why can’t I day drink as I make my tiktok reels? I don’t work 9-5 so who says I can’t get my stuff done down at the local pub? tee hee

I have a few fav spots with big sunny windows and lots of people watching, but quiet. I’ve got bonkers food allergies, so my fav spots all have tasty corn-free foods to keep the Art Champ strong and healthy. You’ll probably be able to spot the regularly re-occurring spots, let me know in the comments which ones you recognize!

I went to a few figure drawing classes and learned and practiced, and I can see the difference it made in my lines and sketches, you can see it getting crisper and cleaner, less chicken -scratchy. I filled up a cheap sketch book from the dollar store, then another one, and just kept going.

Do you have any suggestions? Where should I do some hecking sketching in Edmonton? Who has good gluten free beers that you want to tell me about?

Let me know in the comments pals, I’m looking forward to chatting about my art and all the local beers with my Art Pals!
